so i'm finally entering the blog world and i don't really know how this is going to go... but i figure it will be a good way to document my YEAR in ireland. i am currently trying to pack for this endeavor and it is proving to be extremely difficult. i finally had to break out a third suitcase to fit all of my clothes/shoes/etc (ahem rainboots) and i am currently having a nervous breakdown about my journey from terminal 5 to terminal 4 once i reach jfk in new york.
this nervous breakdown is also fueled by all of the things i am going to miss in the next year:
1. home - no thanksgiving, no christmas morning in michigan, no family, no sister, no mocha...
2. holy cross - i'll be missing a year's worth of parties, kimball dinners, ski team madness, cool beans dates, dinand desperation and appalove
3. friends - i can't even begin on this one
4. food - basically summed up by chipotle
in just two days i will leave all of this behind and step off a plane into something completely new. i'm terrified, nervous, excited, stressed, sad, happy and ready (packing aside)...
here we go :)
