hello hello!
hope everyone is doing well. hard to believe that it's already march! and that i set off for switzerland on wednesday! i had a bit of a scare last week when i woke up feeling like death and had to go to the irish doctor who promptly told me that i might have mono. she then proceeded to draw blood. which i HATE. i had to wait a full 3 days to find out that i am thankfully mono-free and can therefore ski while i am at a ski resort! i'm almost back to 100% just in time :) so worried that i was going to be hanging by myself in the lodge all day.
i set out on wednesday afternoon to dublin airport where i will then fly to london and spend the night in london-gatwick airport. we all know how well my stay in dublin airport went in december... but i'm going to bring lots of entertainment for myself this time so it should be fine. my fellow ski teamer, rob, who is spending the year at oxford (he's ambitious) will meet up with me before our flight to zurich! and there we will meet up with kate (from strasbourg), ted (from scotland) and suz (from rome) at the lazy falken hostel! it was unbearable to see all of the ski team happenings back at hc via facebook so i'm excited to have our ski team takes europe bonanza.
otherwise... just spending my time on sporcle.com, taking the world quiz! i'm getting pretty good (125 out've 195) and hopefully by the end of the year i'll be caught up on all of the geography i did not retain in grade school!
