i hope that everyone is doing well! not much new over here except it rained today! crazy right!?! in other news that is actually shocking, i have 2 essays done and one more than halfway there. i'll be forcing myself to meet a 1500 word quota every day for the next week to be done in time for amsterdam, but it's worth it!
11 weeks in - things i've learned:
1. never travel anywhere without a raincoat (bring an extra pair of pants and socks too)
2. "are you alright?" means "can i get you anything?" and you will be stared at if you respond with a "oh yeah, i'm fine!"
3. "good craic" does not involve drug use
4. in reference to car rides, you only ever say "thanks for the lift" (ride means something completely different...)
5. never let the cashier tell you how much something costs in american dollars... you don't want to know
6. time FLIES when you're having fun.
