well, everyone... day 5 of straight rain over here on the emerald isle. as a result, i am permanently damp, frizzy and cold. i'm in the library again right now. staring out the window at absolute mayhem - rain blowing in every direction, foggy mist, a miserably gray sky, and people running between buildings to try and stay dry.
for those of you who thought my rainboots were a little bit too intense? you have no idea how glad i am to have them in my life. nothing, and i mean nothing, can get through these bad boys. puddles large and small have no chance. plus their bright yellow color permeates the gloom.
in other news... remember how i said earlier that school here was easier than holy cross? i was sadly mistaken. final paper assignments have come out and guess who has 7 to finish in the next 5 weeks? this girl. lots and lots of library time in my future. it will probably make up for the hours i didn't spend here before, right?
doing a complete 180: i have some exciting pictures to share!!! a certain someone requested some pictures of the doughnut man and his amazing creations. thus far this has proven difficult since the doughnuts last all of 20 seconds before being consumed. it required a great deal of personal restraint but i managed to get these shots!
