first off, how is it this late in november already? i just typed in the title as october and then realized it's november... which happens to mean that i am a mere 20 days from turning the big 2-1. not to be redundant but how did that happen so fast?!? also can we talk about the fact that eileen is going to COLLEGE? that can not be happening.

in other news, you'll all be pleased to know that i have conquered milton and now have just two essays to go. the first on the introduction of literacy in early ireland and the second on ancient ceremonial sites in tara (there's a reason these two have been saved for last). but thankfully i get to wait to do them until i return from amsterdam! mary and i are getting very excited - we've already purchased tickets to the anne frank museum and we plan on going to the van gogh museum as well. we'll be meeting up with kids from spain including roommate, kristen :)

other excitement of the week: project thanksgiving 2010. it will be an interesting event for sure but we're trying to make it a classic thanksgiving for our spanish, french and irish roomies (aka we want to do only the easy stuff). we're buying a 15 euro christmas tree and a table cloth so it's going to be a pretty big deal. hopefully it will meet their expectations since their only knowledge of thanksgiving comes from tv/movies. and hopefully all of us americans will be able to handle being away from home for the day :( at least there is a light at the end of the tunnel! less than a month until i'm reunited with mom and eileen!!

1 week out - spontaneous trip to italy! don't worry, i realize how ridiculous my life is and i promise that i am appreciating/making the most of every second of it!
