contrary to what i've started to believe, the world is not ending! as i do every morning, i woke up, reached one arm out of the covers to my curtain and peeked at the sky from the comfort of my warm and cozy bed. now normally, this leaves me absolutely no motivation to get up, but today... today the sky was BLUE. and there was SUN shining into my window. SUN!!! this kind of sun:
and there was not a single drop of rain all day. and it wasn't too cold! and i got to wear normal shoes! and real pants instead of rainboot-conducive leggings!
not even an hour long discussion of the monastary at iona could get me down.
