hello everyone :)
back in the library after a fairly successful weekend. 2401 words down in essay one! hopefully i'll be done with it by this evening. just in time to watch willy wonka and the chocolate factory with the roommates.

after watching chitty chitty bang bang last week, we've been on a steady kick of our favorite old movies: breakfast club, pretty and pink, and mary poppins to name a few! these movies come as welcome distractions after exhausting my eyes and mind at the computer for hours at a time. even tea can't keep me from going crazy after a while.

these movies never get old although watching them 10 years later makes for some interesting realizations... who knew that the whole chitty chitty bang bang child catcher / castle adventure was a detailed story made up by dick van dyke after the best picnic ever? or that mary poppins and bert had a thing for each other?
oh, growing up...
